Requirements
- 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience with Xero, bill.com, Microsoft Excel, and other financial tools
- Experience in hardware and software industries
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, self-directed and excited to step outside the role and help in various ways
- Ability to work closely with senior management
- Strategic thinker with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Manage cost accounting and inventory accounting processes, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation.
- Track the deployment and depreciation of internally produced assets.
- Oversee accounting for leases under ASC 842, ensuring compliance and proper reporting.
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with the U.S. GAAP.
- Manage intercompany transactions and ensure proper elimination and reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial statements and internal financial reports.
- Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls to support business processes.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and support audit readiness.
- Drive system automations, implement change and resolve problems, as needed.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support executives and strategic decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
