Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in people analytics with additional experience in compensation as a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle, especially recruiting.
  • Experience with large-scale data management, data structures, and data schemas (i.e., relational database structures).
  • Prior experience as the owner or administrator of an HR system, analytics platform, or recruiting technology preferred. Experience with Phenom preferred.
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Passion for AI and emerging technologies that empower the People Team to drive innovation and find efficiencies.
  • Experience building tables in a cloud-based solution and SQL preferred.
  • Workday experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a short and long-term roadmap for people analytics, ensuring consistency in data collection, definitions, metrics, and reporting.
  • Uncover insights into the ideal talent profile for ThredUp and identify trends impacting retention. Recommend hiring strategy refinement to improve workforce planning, employee engagement and longevity of the best performers.
  • Manage regular reporting and dashboards for headcount, turnover, and talent acquisition metrics, delivering not just the numbers but the insightful stories contained within.
  • Model and measure the cost of potential programs and assess the effectiveness of current people programs and initiatives.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to leverage data for improving sourcing strategies, hiring efficiency, and candidate experience.
  • Own and optimize ThredUp’s recruiting system, Phenom, to enhance recruiter and hiring manager experience. Responsible for the evolution of our talent assessment process and strategy.
  • Implement automation and AI-driven insights to streamline recruiting operations.
  • Support the VP, People Operations & Total Rewards in bi-annual market reviews to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
  • Manage survey participation data inputs and own benchmarking of new roles.
  • Stay current on trends in hourly pay and analyze the competitiveness and effectiveness of our programs. Evaluate data sources and methodologies to optimize compensation strategies.
