Requirements

  • 5-6 years of data and analytics experience
  • Experience mentoring others on how to optimally manipulate data using multiple approaches
  • Experience optimizing a business intelligence tool to find the answer to business questions quickly.
  • Able to teach others to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context
  • Experience with media mix modelling, incrementality measurement, attribution, and/or longitudinal customer analysis
  • Able to create a test plan for junior team members to ensure the analysis results your team creates are accurate and trustworthy.
  • Experience telling a story with data through clear and concise visualizations as well as excellent communication skills. Able to coach junior team members on the art of data storytelling.
  • Experience with digital marketing channels. Exposure to affiliate, or partnership marketing, is a highly valued skill set.
  • Able to to working within ticketing tools like Zendesk
  • Experience with financial analysis a plus

Responsibilities

  • Mentors junior team members on how to craft an analysis plan that utilizes multiple data sources.
  • Expert in partnerships, or affiliate, marketing terminology and KPIs.
  • Helps others understand when you can use pre-built dashboards in Tableau and Superset to answer a business question vs need to create an ad-hoc dashboard or extract data directly from the data warehouse.
  • Perform complex data analysis using a programming language like SQL (although we are open to other languages that get the job done). Builds documentation and trains others in how to optimize their SQL code for performance
  • Identifies broken internal processes and identifies potential solutions to fix them
  • Become an expert in all of our data sources and how they can be used to answer business questions.
  • Supports questions related to how reporting in our affiliate marketing technology is different from 3rd party tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and attribution vendors.
  • Supports client and product team questions around measurement techniques like attribution, incrementality, MMM modelling, etc.
  • Support AI initiatives across the company that relate to marketing or campaign analysis
  • Lead benchmarking and other analysis projects for our marketing department
  • Support our finance department on business analytics initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to a global company. Partnerize operates in three global regions (EMEA, the Americas, and APAC).
