Requirements
- 5+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
- Deep understanding of Android frameworks, Jetpack components, and modern development patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Strong grasp of networking (REST, WebSockets) and offline-first architectures.
- Experience with localization.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment best practices.
Responsibilities
- Conceive, design, build, and launch new user-facing features.
- Lead development of new features and improvements for Cambly’s Android app.
- Optimize performance and ensure a smooth, high-quality tutoring experience.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to build product experiences that help students find the perfect tutor, create a learning plan, and build their English Fluency.
- Maintain a high code quality product through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of learning and growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and modern UI development is a plus.
