Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in A/V engineering, with significant experience in military or government operations
- Required 8140 Cert: 411 – Intermediate; GFACT or CND or Security+ or GSEC; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
- Proficiency in A/V design software, knowledge of networking and IT systems, and familiarity with security protocols
- Ability to assess complex A/V requirements and develop effective solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Minimum Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Responsibilities
- Gathers and analyzes system requirements to design and implement A/V solutions
- Supports design, configuration, and implementation of A/V systems based upon the customer’s performance criteria and specifications
- Coordinates or tests the installed system, ensuring it meets with customers and users’ expectations
- Assists the O&M team in troubleshooting network-related issues post-deployment of the new systems
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple, complex work assignments
- Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
- Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs
- Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives
