Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • You have 5+ years of experience in content strategy, brand communications, or internal communications
  • You have strong writing, editing, and content development skills across multiple formats (articles, video scripts, newsletters, etc.)
  • You are experienced in managing content for digital platforms and intranets
  • You have familiarity with employee engagement strategies and best practices
  • You have the ability to think strategically while also executing detailed content plans
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to leaving it better

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a compelling content strategy for Bird Nest to not only enhance employee engagement but also strengthen Arc’teryx’s internal brand identity and culture
  • Collaborating with People & Culture, Retail, Community, and Brand teams to embed storytelling into employee experiences, ensuring a consistent and compelling narrative
  • Maintaining a dynamic editorial calendar that supports business objectives, highlights key moments, and amplifies employee stories
  • Supporting the execution of a global editorial strategy that empowers frontline employees through localized storytelling while balancing global and regional relevance
  • Partnering with internal communicators and content creators to surface authentic employee stories that highlight culture, ED&I initiatives, and sustainability efforts
  • Innovating and streamlining the Employee Communications submission and intake process to improve efficiency, engagement, and alignment across teams
  • Sharing knowledge across the Brand Communications team, creating a through line between external and internal communications. Along with providing support to peers in similar roles making recommendations/improvements on existing processes
  • Seeking opportunities for Employee Communications to be considered across enterprise-wide initiatives, providing thought provoking ideas, creativity, and strategic recommendations
  • Acting as a thought leader in internal content strategy, shaping best practices that influence how Arc’teryx communicates with employees globally
  • Bringing creative ideas and storytelling approaches to enhance internal content
