Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst, preferably within large Financial Institutions.
- Strong experience in both business and technical analysis, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
- Experience with user stories, business and systems specifications, business context diagrams, business process maps, use cases and user story maps.
- Experience working on Digital (Online and Mobile) banking projects
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and working on agile projects
- Experience in requirements elicitation techniques such as Document analysis, Interviews, Facilitated workshops, Observation, Prototyping, Focus groups, Surveys
Responsibilities
- Perform stakeholder analysis to identify impacted groups and stakeholder responsibilities.
- Develop requirements plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates.
- Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties
- Define the business analysis approach including tasks and deliverables based on the project and delivery methodology.
- Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to identify business priorities.
- Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, review and prioritization.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze and document detailed business requirements and system requirements using enterprise standard requirements methodology.
- Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise and digital standards.
- Resolve conflicts/issues on behalf of BA team and escalate as required.
- Support Design, Development, and QE activities by providing requirements clarifications.
- Support QE test activities including planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis for requirements-related issues.
- Support the consistency of standards and adherence to enterprise requirements methodology within own BA team.
- Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute –Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA)
- Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or similar.
