Senior Business Analyst/Scrum Master

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 to 8 years of experience
5+ years of working knowledge of software development
5+ years of working knowledge of SQL
Strong Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) experience
Excellent interpersonal skills including organizational, team building, people management, issue resolution, and customer relationship management
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization with both internal and external customers
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to lead and manage projects with medium to high levels of technical and/or functional complexity
Demonstrated ability to systematically gather relevant information from different sources to address an issue and make a prompt and insightful decision

The Business Analyst analyzes user’s requirements and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities
Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies
Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations
Develops technical documentation
Develops system Architecture and system design documentation
Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility
Work with a team of development and support engineers to support their successful achievement of their daily, iteration, release goals, and delivery objectives
Facilitate daily scrums, sprint reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming, etc.
Ensure that the team is fully functional and productive, enabling close cooperation across all roles and functions, while removing barriers
Occasional travel for training and cross-team meetings
