Requirements

  • 5+ years experience working within the private capital/alternative market ideally across Private Equity, Real Assets, or Private Debt/Credit
  • Established network of senior decision makers, managers and promoters of varying asset classes and strategies
  • Self sufficient, can do attitude, with a high achievement drive
  • Collaborative and team based approach
  • Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously
  • Ability to put together proposal documents to a high standard
  • Confident and clear communication skills
  • Relationship and sales experience necessary, specific industry preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and opportunities to convert to revenue for the group across PE, RA and PC
  • Develop own network of contacts and introducers and monetise these relationships through referrals and introductions
  • Follow up new business opportunities and arrange introductory and follow up meetings
  • Attend regular prospective client and key business influencer meetings and provide them with our presentation
  • Plan and prepare proposals to close new business
  • Build and contribute to a solid pipeline of new business
  • Be an integral part achieving team and Group targets
  • Work closely with the Head of Business Development, Head of Private Equity, Marketing and wider Business Development team
