Requirements
- Bachelor degree /Master’s degree and 5 years of general industry experience or 2 years consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm.
- Growing knowledge of corporate strategy and/or transformation core skill sets; emerging experience formulating, planning, and/or implementing strategy and transformative efforts.
- Growing ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, provide insights and implications, inform decision making, and make recommendations/prioritize new opportunities to pursue.
- Growing ability to proactively identify and resolve complex problems with some oversight.
- Developing experience managing complex problems with some oversight.
- Growing ability to build strong connections with people and teams, drive results by working across the matrixed environment, and work directly with leadership with some oversight.
- Growing ability to communicate effectively through verbal, written and visual channels.
- Ability to work within a very fast-paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities.
Responsibilities
- Support leadership with projects related to strategy development, planning, and implementation to help drive growth, improve the affordability of our products and services, and transform our operating model enabled by technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced understanding and knowledge of project portfolio management and project financial management.
- Solid financial acumen inclusive of benefit realization models.
- Experience with business case development.
- Knowledge of Health insurance industry, with the ability to surface and resolve complex problems.
- Extensive skills in excel including use of common excel functions to enable manipulation and presentation of data.
- Ability to manually manage large data sets, organize, update, maintain and present sub-sets of data into consumable formats.
- Experience in simplifying key data points into presentations for senior and C-Suite leadership.
- Understanding and experience in utilizing data to build out storyboards and analytics to explain key issues to senior leadership.
- Able to apply deep expertise to produce ad-hoc datasets, reports and analysis using system reporting tools, business data and historical market knowledge.
