Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on insider threat management, risk assessment, and incident response.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and platforms (e.g., SIEM, DLP, behavioral analytics).
  • Strong understanding of network security, data protection, and threat intelligence.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze potential insider threats through monitoring, investigation, and threat intelligence.
  • Utilize advanced techniques and tools to detect suspicious behavior and anomalies.
  • Act as a responder for insider threat incidents.
  • Coordinate with other cybersecurity and IT teams to contain, investigate, and remediate insider-related incidents.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure policies incorporate best practices for mitigating insider risks.
  • Write clear and concise analytical and intelligence reports.
  • Present findings to a range of business stakeholders.
  • Work closely with various departments, including HR, legal, and IT, to address insider threat concerns.
  • Engage with external partners and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Assist in providing organizational security awareness training to relevant audiences.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threat landscapes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.
  • Additional certifications related to insider threat and risk management (e.g., CISA, CRISC) are advantageous.
  • Experience in sectors with high regulatory requirements (e.g., finance, healthcare) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
