Senior Data Analyst – Operations

4+ years professional experience in data analytics, data science, data engineering, or statistical analysis involving SQL
Passionate about improving maternal health outcomes
An autonomous individual contributor capable of prioritizing work across various workstreams
Experienced scoping and implementing data-driven solutions to ambiguous problems, prioritizing efficacy over complexity
Excited to work cross-functionally across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including folks who do not share your technical expertise
A strong communicator and a keen nose for value – someone who can easily and quickly understand the needs of different audiences

Become an expert in the data that Pomelo has about our patient care and clinical outcomes, and play a foundational role in building the data culture of Pomelo
Build recurring and custom reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key operating metrics related to staffing, service volume, and care management
Partner closely with the Market and Care Operations teams to scope analyses that inform strategic decisions and translate Operation team needs into technical requirements
Identify opportunities to reduce manual time spent on reporting, and implement solutions using the appropriate technical tools
Think creatively about how to use data to proactively identify opportunities to improve patient care; define appropriate metrics and create visualizations

Experience working with healthcare data
Experience presenting analyses to senior business audiences
Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python)
Experience with data dashboarding or visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Metabase)
Experience working with dbt
Experience in a customer-facing role
