Requirements
- Track record of contributing to complex, multi-layered, impactful machine learning projects
- Ability to work in a self-directed fashion
- Strong intuition for data and patterns
- Experience working on embedded models in always-on production systems
- Experience mentoring more junior team members
- Product-focused mindset
- Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders
- Expert in Python
- Familiar with Spark (or PySpark)
- Strong SQL skills
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms for real-time bidding platform
- Train massive deep learning models at scale
- Improve advertising campaign performance
- Generate performance insights for end users
- Participate in designing, researching, building, and delivering data-focused products
- Collaborate closely with engineering throughout the product lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in AdTech / MarTech / digital advertising a plus but not required
- Hands-on experience training deep learning models in an industry environment, PyTorch preferred
- Extensive experience running heavy workloads on a distributed computing cluster (especially EMR or Databricks)
- Proficient in software engineering concepts; writes maintainable code and is comfortable using version control
