Requirements
- A contemporary design aesthetic with a strong portfolio showcasing conceptual and executional abilities across digital, mobile, print, and video.
- At least 5 years of professional design experience, ideally within film, media, or entertainment.
- Expertise in motion graphics and art direction.
- Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
- A strong ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working across time zones.
- A passion for film and design, with a keen interest in evolving trends and tools.
Responsibilities
- Leading, developing, and executing creative solutions to promote our curated film programming, including brand campaigns, social media assets, film key art, motion graphics for trailers, and more.
- Working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in different regions.
- Navigating projects autonomously, problem-solving, and making confident design decisions.
- Mentoring junior designers on the team, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
- Proactively exploring new ideas to evolve MUBI’s visual brand identity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing designers or leading design projects.
- Experience working with brand agencies.
