Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Commercial Excellence/Operations with a Proven track record of designing and implementing successful programs in multiple international markets.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Foster a spirit of innovation, collaboration and development internally.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to incentive compensation, with experience working in multiple regions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using Excel for data analysis and modeling. Experience in multiple tech stacks/systems supporting CRM, Data Analytics and Incentives.
  • Experience working in a global organization, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams in different regions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a matrix organization and drive strong engagement with stakeholders in change management.
  • Ability to travel globally as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for global incentive compensation, sales analytics, and enablement, ensuring alignment with Baxter’s commercial objectives.
  • Lead and develop UCAN team across CRM, data analytics, and incentive compensation, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence with projects spanning into global markets.
  • Shape and drive the global technology and platform strategy, ensuring harmonization and standardization of CRM, analytics, and incentive tools.
  • Act as a thought leader in incentive compensation and commercial analytics, ensuring best-in-class practices and future-focused strategies.
  • Work effectively in a highly matrixed global structure, influencing without direct authority to drive alignment and adoption of global best practices.
  • Engage and collaborate with senior commercial, finance, HR, and legal leaders to align incentive structures and sales analytics with broader business goals.
  • Drive change management and transformation initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and centralized services across the organization.
  • Oversee the global harmonization of platforms, processes, and incentive structures, ensuring consistency, transparency, and fairness across all regions.
  • Lead efforts to streamline and optimize technology stacks in CRM, data analytics, and incentive compensation, supporting a more integrated, data-driven commercial approach.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making, ensuring Baxter’s commercial teams are equipped with actionable insights to maximize effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of leadership, development, and high performance within the global team, ensuring talent growth and succession planning.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior commercial leadership, advising on compensation, enablement, and analytics strategies to drive business success.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with sales, marketing, finance, HR, and regional leadership to ensure alignment and execution of commercial strategies.
