Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of total experience in technology with a minimum of 5 years in people management role.
  • Experience with retail or supply chain technology.
  • Previous hands on experience in Software Engineering.
  • Experience in systems design and architecture.
  • Experience leading large-scale, globally distributed teams in an agile environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural, and international environment.
  • Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus, but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of scalable software solutions that enhance inventory management, improve forecasting accuracy, and streamline operations.
  • Mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and business leaders to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the quality, scalability, and responsiveness of applications, ensuring they meet enterprise-grade standards.
  • Evaluate and implement the latest innovations in cloud computing, edge computing, GenAI, and machine learning.
  • Manage large, geographically distributed teams in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
