Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the wastewater, water treatment, or environmental technology sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including biological, chemical, and mechanical treatment methods.
  • Understanding of industry regulations (e.g., EPA, Clean Water Act, municipal wastewater standards).
  • Experience with water treatment technologies, equipment, and process optimization.
  • Ability to develop business cases, product positioning strategies, and go-to-market plans.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and drive product improvements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to align teams and drive product initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand market size and industry trends.
  • Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and improve existing products.
  • Property identify and group of customers by needs and behavior and prioritize segments with more effective commercial results.
  • Engage with municipalities, industrial clients, and regulatory agencies to understand wastewater challenges and requirements.
  • Create effective value proposition by customer segment that describes the value plan to provide to our customer.
  • Reworld position vs competitors by segment.
  • Customer workshops to understand customer unmet needs and create solutions to exceed their expectations.
  • Evaluate Redrop solutions in terms of market size, competitiveness, and profitability.
  • Layout the value chain and identify adjacencies that might have better profitability and be an areas for growth.
  • Where do we want to take Redrop in 5 years and what are the investments in technology, capex, operations, SG&A that we need to make, Payback/ROI from these investments.
  • Understand the capacity of our plants and operations and work to increase efficiency.
  • Waste water processing costs both Opex and Capex and plan to optimize.
  • Closely working with finance to develop, track and monitor product line P&L.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve product efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement by gathering customer feedback and iterating on product features.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with municipal and industrial wastewater clients.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in water reuse, sludge management, and energy recovery.
  • Familiarity with software tools for data analysis, project management, and customer insights (e.g., GIS, SCADA, ERP).
