Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in the finance industry focusing on quality for card and ACH transaction disputes
  • Strong understanding of Reg E dispute requirements
  • Familiarity with Mastercard and/or Visa chargeback rules
  • Highly motivated self-starter, comfortable working within a high risk environment under minimal supervision
  • Some product sense and knowledge of banking products such as ACH, International Wires, SWIFT, checks, and debit cards
  • Ability to exercise empathy and understanding when communicating with team members
  • Ability to communicate complicated concepts with efficiency and clarity
  • Curiosity about the US banking system, startups, and ecommerce companies

Responsibilities

  • Complete manual quality assessments of dispute resolution processes, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Create quality dashboards and trend reports
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on quality assessments to drive continuous improvement across the dispute program
  • Drive quality calibration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the development, refinement, and operationalization of dispute quality processes and procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, compliance regulations, and internal policy changes to ensure quality standards are met
  • Participate in special projects, internal audits, and process improvements in support of quality control initiatives
