Requirements
- Minimum 12 years’ experience creating manufacturing drawings with ASME Y14 standards
- Minimum 8 years’ using 3D CAD for drawing creation (SolidWorks preferred)
- Minimum of a technical degree or relative ASME certifications (if less than 15 years of total work experience)
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that consistent and accurate product file in both traditional and digital formats is generated from the engineering department
- Adhering to a model centric environment
- Checking 3D parametric models and drawings created by the Designers and Engineers
- Work with engineers to provide guidance on design for manufacturability and maintenance
- Adhere to and stay current with applicable standards and specifications
- Develops knowledge and expertise to serve as a department SME, including learning new tasks to gain deeper knowledge and insight, demonstrating our value of leading
- Perform other duties as assigned
