Requirements
- Computer Literacy
- Linux
- Operating Systems (OS)
- 5+ years of related experience
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics
- Proficient in Systems Administration for both Microsoft Windows and Unix/Linux systems operating systems
- Strong math and/or physics background
- US Citizenship Required
Responsibilities
- Designs, evaluates, plans, tests, and operates electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems
- Develop and maintain software on both Linux and Windows platforms
- Develop software for instrument control
- Evaluate systems and recommend and implement design modifications or equipment repair
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MATLAB, C++, C#, SQL
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Red Hat Linux preferred
- Experience with installation, patching and troubleshooting both Linux and Windows platforms
