Requirements
- At least to five (5) years of experience in Design, Development and Support of Data-Driven, all aspects of SDLC in a highly scalable multi-tier applications in distributed environments is preferred.
- Financial services and/or enterprise level experience is required.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL modules such as packages, procedures, functions, other database objects is required.
- Basic experience with ETL/ Data Flow Principles. Extracting, loading of data from source systems is required.
- Knowledge of Java or REST API.
- Experience with Unix and Shell scripting.
- Experience Job scheduler tools like BMC Control-M, Autosys.
- Knowledge on Data Warehousing concepts.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data from multiple sources to draw appropriate conclusions and make suitable recommendations.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing software using programming languages.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on monitoring, diagnosing and fixing technological problems.
- Occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop existing applications and contribute to development of new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
- Analyzes system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub systems.
- Monitor, identify, and correct more complex software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software.
- Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
- Design and perform website/applications software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues.
- Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.
- Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or to reuse of existing code.
- May lead assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.
- May recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities. Remains current with new technologies.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge on OFSAA application.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps is preferred.
- Experience with regulatory reporting, especially in the area of CECL and CCAR are preferred.
- Experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting are preferred.
