Requirements
- Bachelors with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 3+ years or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical field preferred
- Strong knowledge of Python programming
- Experience with the Linux operating system
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the role of QA in the software development life cycle
- Experience testing storage systems
- Experience using IO workload generation tools (FIO/VDBench)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Strong communicator: Able to effectively convey findings to developers and team members
- Adaptable: Quick to learn new technologies and methodologies, and flexible in responding to evolving project requirements
- Problem Solver: Resourceful in devising creative solutions to challenging technical issues
- Team player: Collaborative mindset, contributing positively to team dynamics and project outcomes
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for Samsung High Performance Storage (SHiPS) software solution
- Create and execute test plans for new features
- Conduct both manual and automated testing
- Leverage internal and external test tools and frameworks for automated testing
- Participate in internal test tool development
- Report defects and manage bugs throughout the entire software development lifecycle
