Requirements

  • 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth or complex engineering environment.
  • Deep expertise in sourcing and engaging hard-to-find technical talent, using innovative strategies beyond traditional job postings.
  • Strong account management skills—proven ability to partner with hiring managers who have a focused, exacting vision for their hires.
  • Ability to build credibility quickly and influence key stakeholders with data, insights, and a consultative approach.
  • Proficiency in behavioral-based interviewing and candidate assessment to ensure the right technical and cultural fit.
  • Track record of success in fast-paced, high-volume, and high-bar recruiting environments—agency and in-house experience preferred.
  • Business acumen—you understand how talent acquisition drives business success and can align recruiting strategies with company goals.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change—Boston Dynamics is evolving, and we need someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the full-cycle recruiting strategy for key technical roles across Boston Dynamics, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers—understanding their unique hiring needs, advising on market conditions, and providing data-driven insights to ensure the best talent decisions.
  • Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies to engage highly sought-after engineering talent in robotics, AI, software, and hardware domains.
  • Build and manage strong talent pipelines—leveraging proactive sourcing techniques and continuously engaging passive candidates.
  • Conduct thorough, behavioral-based interviews to assess both technical acumen and cultural fit, ensuring we hire top performers who will thrive in our environment.
  • Drive accountability in the hiring process by providing clear direction, coaching hiring managers on best practices, and ensuring timely and high-quality decision-making.
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels, confidently navigating hiring discussions with engineers, technical leaders, and executives.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience by maintaining clear communication, timely feedback, and a compelling employer value proposition.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, recognizing opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance the candidate journey, and improve efficiency.
