Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 8+ years of environmental consulting experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental projects, including permitting, compliance, and remediation tasks
  • Develop and maintain proposals, cost estimates, schedules, change orders, and budgets while identifying and resolving challenges to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Ensure project alignment with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, ASTM standards)
  • Perform Phase I and II ESA technical writing and fieldwork
  • Conduct soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling using established safety protocols
  • Prepare detailed reports, including sampling plans and remediation strategies
  • Conduct site investigations, collect and evaluate data, and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Analyze reports, maps, blueprints, and test results to inform project execution
  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations
  • Communicate with regulatory authorities and address project-specific requirements
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns
  • Deliver project findings and recommendations in a clear and professional manner, detailed and comprehensive technical report writing skills
  • Train and supervise field staff to ensure project and safety compliance
  • Organize and maintain project documentation for operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Geologist; PG or Professional Engineer; PE registration/license
  • Knowledge of environmental permitting, regulations, and testing methods
  • Experience guiding, mentoring, and directing staff to collaboratively execute projects.
