Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus)
- 4-7 years of progressive finance experience, with exposure to FP&A, billing, reporting, and operational finance
- Experience working with NetSuite
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to partner with and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes and solve problems
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Support internal and external audit preparation
- Assist in annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, and long-range planning processes
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to drive profitability and cost efficiency
- Partner with department leaders to support departmental budget management and scenario planning
- Oversee billing processes in coordination with the Controller and operations teams
- Monitor AR and AP activities, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations and strengthen internal controls
- Support working capital management and cash flow forecasting
- Manage migration of financial programs and procedures, such as moving from Quickbooks to NetSuite
- Help maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Assist with documentation and implementation of finance policies and procedures
- Provide financial guidance to cross-functional teams on new initiatives, vendor negotiations, and investment decisions
- Translate financial data into actionable business insights for senior leadership
