Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of financial analysis, finance, public accounting, and/or reporting experience required.
  • Strong financial and quantitative skills, with the ability to manage complex data sets and identify meaningful trends.
  • Proven ability to critically analyze data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
  • Self-motivated with strong time-management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across departments.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Results-oriented, a collaborative problem solver, and an effective team player who performs well under pressure.
  • A demonstrated eagerness to learn, contribute, and share knowledge within the organization.
  • Highly proficient in Excel; experience with SQL and Tableau preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial reports to depict firm performance, including desk scorecard performance.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly presentations for management to provide insights on key financial metrics and business performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of trading strategies using a variety of advanced industry metrics.
  • Reconcile and organize data received from operations, treasury, accounting, strategy and technology departments to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop, refine, and test new financial reports that enhance the company’s understanding of key performance indicators, communicating insights to senior leadership.
  • Support and participate in the implementation and integration of DRW’s new ERP system, ensuring seamless financial data migration and process alignment.
  • Drive the adoption and management of the new carbon accounting system, providing financial insights and ensuring compliance with environmental reporting standards.
  • Act as a key business partner by providing strategic support and addressing ad hoc requests with thorough financial insights.
  • Mentor and train junior financial analysts, enhancing team competency and effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior management experience preferred.
