Requirements
- 3+ years of FPGA development experience.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL programming languages.
- Proficiency in AMD (Xilinx) chip base and primitives.
- Experience with good digital design principles and practices.
- Experience with AMD (Xilinx) Vivado/Vitis integration tools.
- Experience with Siemens Questa simulation tools.
- Experience with Git, GitHub and general principles of Continuous Integration process.
- Experience with scripting and Linux environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration and testing of the 4×4 ORAN FPGA project, and propose changes to enable Carrier Aggregation features.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize POST functions and enhance the performance of Eridan’s System on Module (SOM) initiative.
- Independently validate FPGA project changes on hardware and simulation platforms to ensure accurate functionality.
- Resolve chip fitting, timing closure, and simulation limitations while supporting bring-up and debugging activities in the lab environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ORAN WG4 specifications and 5G technology.
- Experience with packet-based timing protocols such as Ethernet, PTP, SyncE.
- Strong debugging skills using JTAG, ILA, and the Vivado/Vitis toolset.
- Familiarity with software programming in C, C++, Python, or MATLAB.
- Experience with UVM environment and validation methodologies.
- Experience with Agile development and Atlassian tool set such as Jira and Confluence.
