Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the gaming industry with experience leading and coordinating live game development and operations
- Good understanding of players’ preferences and behaviors, especially in card games and tabletop games
- Experienced in manufacturing, retailing and marketing of consumer products
- Experienced management and relationship-building skills
- Experience building high-quality relationships and communications with players
- Experience scheduling and tracking development. Find and address risks associated with key-milestones both for our teams and external teams
Responsibilities
- Translate the product strategy into a roadmap for large product experiences throughout the game development cycle
- Work closely with the product leadership and designer POs to ensure the vision for the product and features is clear, and align the team behind it throughout execution
- Lead the prioritization and creation of the backlog and product roadmap
- Lead all production aspects and tasks in your areas of responsibilities, and ensure the timely and predictable delivery of great player experiences
- Lead as the central point of contact for all internal and external partners to ensure that production milestones are being met
- Provide essential product feedback and insight to the team and leadership
- Proactively identify issues standing in the way of success (people, product, process), provide strategies for tackling them, own their resolution and evaluate results
- Build and maintain healthy and sustainable partnership with all partner teams
- Ensure optimal team health, culture, and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in the gaming industry with experience coordinating live game development and operations
- Fluent in Chinese and English, and can promote collaboration across language and culture
- Experience managing diverse, remote, cross-cultural or cross-discipline teams / partners to achieve a common goal
- Experience in a non-production role
