Requirements
- BA/BS degree in graphic design, fine art, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications
- 5+ years of experience in illustration, brand design, user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, media, web or agency)
Responsibilities
- Create high-craft iconography and illustrations that meet technical and visual design requirements
- Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user-centered design process
- Clearly communicate strategic thinking and design decisions to a variety of partners
- Collaborate daily with peers in every discipline, including engineering, content, research, marketing and product, to deliver final products that are scalable, cohesive, and inspiring
- Deliver high-craft work on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing the correct level of effort and investment relative to product development maturity
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, experience in integrating emerging technologies into your practice
- Ability to deliver projects independently and/or owning components of larger projects
- Ability to influence decisions on assigned projects by actively engaging and adding value in team discussions
- Ability to create solutions that consider end-to-end user flows and impacts on adjacent experiences
- Identifies opportunities to extend and evolve the LinkedIn design language
