Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Consistent track record of efficiently implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with diverse teams to resolve most efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods.
- Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
- Design and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles. Provide training and guidance to supervisors and operators as required.
- Build and update work instructions, process flow charts, and operational guidelines.
- Conduct time studies and establish labor standards for production operations.
- Identify and proactively resolve bottlenecks and issues in the production line.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the highest quality components and materials are used.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an industrial engineer in a manufacturing facility.
- 2D AutoCAD software experience.
- Experience in simulation software.
