Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Computing, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Enterprise applications, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), or big data.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Responsibilities

  • Work with and influence user researchers, product managers, engineers and others in the Cloud product area to create a user experience for enterprise and customer use cases to help drive impact across multiple compute engine focus areas.
  • Understand and gain an understanding of Cloud technologies, user motivations, market opportunities, and competition.
  • Recognize when the solution being proposed isn’t ideal, and challenge the approach with alternative solutions.
  • Lead design direction and create storyboards, wireframes, fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes to guide design and development.
  • Pitch and present concepts, proposals, and updates to executive stakeholders and translate complex concepts and interactions into simple, elegant, and coherent design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working collaboratively with and influencing other designers, product managers and engineers.
  • Experience prototyping your own designs using Figma.
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual design skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate designs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and investigative thinking skills.
