Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assist with lab setup, breakdown, and support for events and training sessions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of lab space, instruments, and associated equipment.
  • Support customer visits and internal training labs by ensuring proper lab functionality.
  • Maintain inventory levels for lab equipment, disposables, and instruments.
  • Manage inventory storage for disposables and ensure appropriate stock levels.
  • Receive, stock, and track items sent to Denver HQ for labs and national courses.
  • Re-order supplies to maintain par levels and prevent shortages.
  • Ship instruments, disposables, and other lab items to support external events.
  • Implement and maintain a digitized tissue management system.
  • Provide remote access to real-time inventory for in-house specimens.
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly preventative maintenance (PM) of tissue containment units (TCUs).
  • Perform quarterly inventory validation of cadaveric specimens.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Marketing teams to manage tissue needs and usage.
  • Develop and implement PM schedules for all critical lab equipment (e.g. washer, autoclave, suction management, etc.).
  • Perform and coordinate all equipment PM tasks to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
  • Transition from reactive to proactive maintenance to support rapid lab growth.
  • Create and maintain a live inventory database for all lab instruments, products, and equipment.
  • Ensure scheduled inventory validation and updates throughout the year.
  • Support growing product and instrumentation needs in alignment with lab expansion.
  • Manage national and local shipments, including freight coordination and scheduling.
  • Oversee daily receiving operations, including unloading and stocking shipments.
  • Ensure timely and organized distribution of lab-related shipments and returns.
  • Develop and implement new processes to streamline lab operations and support increased event volume.
  • Standardize cadaveric lab/event management to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Assist in scheduling, setup, and cleanup of lab events, including evenings and weekends.
  • Provide on-site support during lab events to troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical device experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and transport lab equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow strict lab protocols.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Proficiency with digital inventory management and process improvement strategies is a plus.
