Requirements
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a Big Four public accounting firm.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate large data sets.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Science/Biotech industry is a plus.
- Strong collaborative and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes.
- Coordinate with local markets, tax, treasury, CFP&A, and shared services to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and prepare commentary.
- Liaise with global business partners to ensure timely retrieval and evaluation of accounting reports.
- Work under tight financial reporting deadlines.
- Assist in reviewing earnings releases, investor materials, and 10Q/10K reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Support special projects, ad hoc analysis, and management requests
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Science/Biotech industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
