Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering, Project Management or Construction, and a minimum of 10 years relevant experience required.
- 5+ years of broad-based experience in the energy industry and contract/project management.
- Experience in cost management, and project management.
- Experience with SAP, OPC, WBS creation, Schedule and Cost Control planning and management.
- Experience managing investment budgets and demonstrated knowledge of cost monitoring.
- Experience in Contract Management.
- Risk management experience is recommended.
- Renewable industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in a large multi-faceted utility organization with varying goals, customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of internal and externals individuals, timesheets, performance reviews, goals, and development.
- Daily coordination with the Project Delivery team leaders to support and address budget planning, cost control and reporting.
- Management of the projects budget, coordinating with and incorporating inputs from the CAPEX team and other areas to continuously track all project progress, expenses and projections.
- Coordinating the process of preparation of the Execution Projects annual budget and quarterly reviews analyzing of the consistency of the information to assist Management in proper decision making.
- CAPEX budget. Creating Monthly analysis report to track expenses against annual budget and revisions. Provide monthly forecast for the execution projects. Monitor Contractors’ cost performance, ensuring adherence to budgets and forecasts.
- OPEX budget. Creating Monthly analysis report to track expenses against annual budget and revisions.
- Coordinating with Cost Control SAP Work Breakdown Structures and associated Work Orders, ensuring alignment between SAP and project cost control tools.
- Inform management of deviations from established processes or cost updates which may impact business outcomes.
- Ensure an effective and consistent cost management/tracking processes from FID through construction to COD.
- Direct the payment and invoicing of all construction payments.
- Detailed forecasts of project budgets and construction coast at completion (EAC).
- Proactively manage cost impacts because project scope changes, identify potential cost and schedule risk and opportunities, and propose mitigation plans.
- Oversees Internal and External Audit, serving as the key liaison as issues or questions arise related to evaluations over internal controls over financial reporting.
- Managing the cost management reporting tools & full participation in implementation and the processes & procedures. Ownership of loading and data integrity of execution projects reconciling to SAP and other systems of record for the monthly actual, quarterly forecast and annual budget. Review cost management tools and systems and ensure they are optimized to support project delivery.
- Perform SOX control review and address all deficiencies with necessary remediation plans.
- Monthly Reports: Execution projects. EAC, analyzing actuals and forecasts.
- Procurement Support activities: Manage Approval process for Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, validating cost control coding and alignment with approved budgets. Ensure Procure to Pay Process.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
