Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in data science, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and algorithm development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms such as (SA360, DV360, TheTradeDesk).
- Experience in marketing analytics.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a global team of 3-5 data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Guide the team in setting goals and provide career development opportunities.
- Oversee the ideation, development, and deployment of advanced algorithms, including contextual bands, to enhance decision-making for digital marketing and CRM notifications.
- Ensure the team delivers high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code and models.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed algorithms, making necessary adjustments to enhance their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and implement effective solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science and analytics to continuously improve the team’s capabilities.
- Foster a data-driven culture within the team, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing around contextual bandits and RL applications.
- Communicate complex data science concepts, especially those related to contextual bandits and RL, to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
