Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years confirmed experience in a strategic Insights and analytics roles
  • Experience with conducting primary and secondary market research
  • Experience in analytic (analytic methods such as, but not limited to – Volumetric Forecasting, MMA, TURF, Max-Diff, Choice-based methods)
  • Research methodology experience with segmentation, pricing, messaging, A&Us, etc.
  • Experience in leading Insights vendors

Responsibilities

  • Support Insights and Analytics goals and objectives that enable the achievement of BD long-term success
  • Partner with BUs and Functional teams (Marketing, R&D, Business Development) to build and deliver practical learning plans with clear understanding of business issues
  • Provide foresight by anticipating how market growth drivers will influence future business strategies
  • Be responsible for the process of translating and communicating customer insights in the development of business decisions and strategies
  • Challenge the status quo by applying data and insights penetrating beneath the numbers to bring strategic focus to BD business platforms
  • Communicate objective, in-depth, and practical insights and recommendations to key business partners and collaborators via reports, compelling presentations, and ad-hoc meetings
  • Leverage multiple forms of reporting including ‘story telling’, infographics, dashboards, and the like
  • Support maintenance of strategic vendor partnerships
  • Ensure continual improvement of processes and accountability of results
  • Maintain standard processes and innovative approaches.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred confirmed experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals or OTC
  • Preferred global research experience
