Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive Learning & Development experience, including 3+ years managing a team.
  • Demonstrated success designing and delivering blended learning solutions across various modalities.
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360), video editing platforms (e.g., Camtasia, Vyond, Premiere), Adobe Creative Cloud, and LMS administration (Workday Learning).
  • Experience applying adult learning principles or similar frameworks, and leveraging data analytics to inform program design.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic responsibilities with hands-on collaboration.
  • Strong project management skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small, high-performing L&D team.
  • Align team goals and initiatives with organizational objectives, ensuring measurable impact on performance.
  • Cultivate an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the end-to-end design of blended learning programs (eLearning, instructor-led training, virtual workshops, etc.) based on adult learning principles and best practices.
  • Develop content using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, HeyGen, ElevenLabs) and multimedia platforms (e.g., Camtasia, Vyond) to create engaging, effective learning experiences.
  • Partner with internal and external subject matter experts to ensure program relevance, technical accuracy, and alignment with business goals.
  • Strategic vision and collaboration for the Learning Management System (Workday Learning), ensuring system optimization and seamless learner experience.
  • Analyze learning data and feedback to measure program effectiveness, track ROI, and inform continuous improvements.
  • Regularly present executive-ready insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Conduct comprehensive learning needs assessments to identify skill gaps and prioritize areas for development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized training solutions that address immediate business challenges and long-term growth strategies.
  • Create and manage a standardized training intake process to ensure efficient prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Design and refine leadership development frameworks, competency models, and onboarding programs to cultivate a strong internal talent pipeline.
  • Utilize assessments (Predictive Index) for coaching, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Oversee performance management initiatives and partner with HR teams to ensure continuous support for emerging leaders.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation and effectiveness in training solutions. Specifically, Artificial Intelligence.
  • Evaluate and select external vendors and training providers to supplement in-house expertise.
  • Implement iterative update cycles to keep content fresh, relevant, and engaging.
