Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (technical degree strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated success leading technical strategies for manufacturing operations across multiple facilities or regions
- Deep expertise in equipment lifecycle planning, automation integration, and long-term asset reliability
- Proven ability to engage senior operations, engineering, and maintenance leaders to drive alignment around shared technical objectives
- Strong communication skills and global collaboration experience in highly matrixed, cross-functional teams
- Recognized as a technical authority, with a track record of shaping decisions and driving adoption of best practices without direct supervisory responsibilities
- Skilled at building trust and alignment across diverse stakeholders through data, systems thinking, and deep domain knowledge
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, with experience applying them to improve equipment uptime, reduce variability, and optimize performance at scale
- Familiarity with enterprise operating models such as company-wide production systems or similar frameworks
Responsibilities
- Serve as the global technical leader for manufacturing services – setting the direction for equipment maintenance strategy, automation planning, and process alignment across our global facilities
- Drive the development and deployment of consistent standards, systems, and best practices related to equipment uptime, lifecycle planning, and technical operations
- Lead BCP wide facility operations efforts to integrate automation and advanced technologies into manufacturing strategies, including new product introduction (NPI) initiatives
- Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance leaders to align long-term planning and resource allocation with business growth and efficiency targets
- Shape and execute a unified technical roadmap that improves scalability, reduces variability, and enhances operational reliability across the global BCP footprint
- Act as a trusted advisor and influencer – guiding senior leaders and facility teams through complex, cross-functional decisions
- Provide hands-on engagement and strategic oversight across global sites to ensure the adoption and sustainability of core manufacturing systems and philosophies
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of best practices and standards for improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of the design, production, and distribution of manufacturing products; ability to create and implement best practices and standards for various manufacturing processes and activities
- Progressive experience in developing/designing manufacturing processes; ability to establish and determine which processes and parameters should be opted to improve functionality and costs
- Global manufacturing experience, with the ability to navigate cultural, operational, and organizational complexities across international sites
- Experience leading large-scale technical initiatives that span multiple facilities, with a demonstrated ability to create consistency across global manufacturing operations
- Deep expertise in automation systems, robotics, and complex equipment technologies – especially in support of long-term strategic planning and systems integration
