Senior Manager of Trading Operations

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
7+ years of progressive experience in trade operations within wealth management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Deep understanding of financial markets, trading mechanics, settlement processes, and regulatory requirements
Experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong technical aptitude with experience using and evaluating major trading platforms and financial software
Strategic problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Exceptional project management capabilities with proven ability to lead process improvements
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

Lead and develop a team of trading professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Establish department KPIs and performance metrics to drive operational efficiency and client satisfaction
Oversee the complete trade lifecycle from order to settlement, implementing best practices and ensuring regulatory compliance
Design and maintain robust reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate trade and position records across all platforms
Manage complex trade discrepancies, collaborating with custodians and counterparties to resolve issues promptly
Develop and implement operational controls and risk management protocols to minimize errors and maximize efficiency
Partner with financial advisors to provide strategic trading support and market insights
Drive the evolution of our trading systems by identifying and implementing automation opportunities
Build and nurture strategic relationships with external partners, including custodians and trading platforms
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that support the firm’s growth objectives
