Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of experience with Citrix applications or Virtual Desktop platforms (Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, Workspace Environment Manager, Dizzion or AWS Workspaces)
- At least 3 years of experience with AWS
- At least 3 years of people management experience
Responsibilities
- Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
- Continuously improve software engineering practices
- Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
- Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of your solutions
- Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
- Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversity
- Utilize scripting languages like Python, SQL, Ruby and groovy, Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- 6+ years of experience supporting Windows-based virtual desktops
- 6+ years with scripting experience (PowerShell or Python)
- 6+ years of experience with network architecture and troubleshooting firewall issues
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V) or similar cloud certification
