Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Human Resources, I/O Psychology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in people analytics, talent strategy, HR consulting, or strategic HR roles, with a proven track record of influencing executive-level decisions through data.
- 5+ years of people management experience with track record of developing individuals and creating a high performing team.
- Experience in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Visier, Tableau, Power BI) for sophisticated analyses and executive-level reporting.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior business, HR, and finance executives on critical talent initiatives spanning hiring, employee engagement, development, and retention.
- Lead executive-level discussions to challenge assumptions, influence decision-making, and drive the adoption of innovative, data-informed talent strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional People Analytics teams to capture the voice of the business and ensure alignment on strategic priorities.
- Oversee the design and delivery of complex analytics projects—from hypothesis formulation and model development to executive-level dashboards and actionable insights.
- Translate multifaceted data into clear, high-impact recommendations that inform talent decisions such as workforce planning, compensation strategies, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Champion the use of predictive modeling, prescriptive analytics, and advanced statistical techniques to anticipate and address evolving talent challenges.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to pinpoint critical talent issues and prioritize initiatives that drive measurable business impact.
- Develop and refine comprehensive KPI frameworks and measurement systems that track performance trends, benchmark against industry standards, and support data-driven decision making.
- Define and drive the talent strategy roadmap, ensuring its integration with LinkedIn’s broader organizational objectives.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions with executive leadership to align talent practices with emerging business needs such as org transformation and performance.
- Leverage external market intelligence and benchmarking data to refine and elevate our talent practices relative to industry trends.
- Craft and present executive-ready reports and visualizations that clearly articulate key talent trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Use influential storytelling techniques to connect complex data insights with tangible business outcomes, ensuring clarity and actionable guidance for senior leadership.
- Mentor and inspire a high-performing team of analytics and strategy professionals, cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with technology and internal analytics teams to enhance data infrastructure, tool selection, and governance standards that support robust analytical capabilities.
- Continuously identify and integrate emerging analytics approaches and best practices to keep LinkedIn at the forefront of talent strategy.
- Ensure the highest standards of data integrity, privacy, and compliance across all talent analytics initiatives.
- Advocate for ethical data practices and guide executive decision-making on the legal and cultural implications of data-driven talent strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in HR, Data Science, I/O Psychology, or related field).
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing enterprise-level talent strategies—from workforce planning to leadership development—across complex organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and leading teams.
- Deep expertise in advanced analytics techniques, including predictive analytics and statistical modeling, with a knack for translating data into actionable business insights.
- Exceptional leadership and consulting skills, with a history of building and guiding high-performing teams in dynamic environments.
- Superior storytelling and communication abilities, adept at synthesizing detailed analyses into compelling, executive-ready presentations.
- Experience partnering with senior executives and strategic finance leaders to drive impactful, data-informed talent initiatives.
- Familiarity with external benchmarking practices to assess organizational talent metrics against industry trends and best practices.
