Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience
• or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
• or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the produce to deliver, service/support, and long-term strategic business plans related to complex castings.
• Leads decision making for the strategic casting team and applies critical thinking where incomplete data exists.
• Represents the team to senior leadership, driving and reporting progress for strategic casting initiatives, and providing robust solution recommendations to executive leaders.
• Directs the work of sub-team leaders assigned to the casting team from manufacturing, procurement, and engineering areas.
• Leads and organizes reviews, team meetings, and other regular business activities.
• Creates and manages business cases specific to casting initiatives.
• Responsible for the budget of the Strategic Castings Tiger Team.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through strong communication and concise presentation material.

Preferred Qualifications

• Casting industry experience, especially complex aluminum and magnesium sand castings.
• Program management
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
• Advanced degree(s) in business management
