Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, logistics, supply chain, or related area and 3 years’ experience in an operations, distribution, or manufacturing environment, including supervising, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees.
- 6 years’ experience in manufacturing facility or distribution-related field facility (for example, food processing, grocery).
Responsibilities
- Oversee the hiring and training of warehouse associates, mentor and assign duties, and promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Drive and implement business plans to achieve facility goals in production, quality, and safety, service, cost, and lead efforts in inventory control and management.
- Supervise warehouse associates and leaders, providing direction and feedback, and identify training needs and provide growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and utilize and support the Open Door Policy for transparent communication.
- Identify needs, develop business plans, remove barriers, and provide resources, and measure progress and adjust performance to meet goals.
- Participate in and support community events, strengthen the company’s reputation, and develop partnerships to enhance the company’s local image.
- Develop plans to increase effectiveness and build diversity, monitor performance and provide specific, honest feedback, and provide guidance and support for associate development.
- Build collaborative relationships and alliances, promote a respectful, diverse, and inclusive work environment, and foster strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Use business metrics and reports to make sound decisions, identify root causes and implement solutions, and foster a customer-centered performance culture.
- Develop plans to exceed customer expectations and grow the business, ensure customers receive high-quality service, and motivate others to achieve measurable and meaningful goals.
- Monitor and adjust efforts to meet goals, leverage resources to achieve business goals, and recognize and reward team accomplishments.
- Set clear expectations and goals, providing necessary resources, and use key metrics to identify performance improvements.
- Develop and communicate logical reasons to build support, recognize and reward team accomplishments, and promote the exchange of diverse experiences and ideas.
- Train associates on compliance with policies and procedures, promote high standards of integrity and ethics, and maintain an environment of objectivity and open communication.
- Demonstrate creativity and resilience in the face of change, update knowledge and skills to handle new responsibilities, and implement plans that support company sustainability goals.
- Serve as a resource to community partners on sustainability efforts and maintain an environment of objectivity and open communication.
- Promote associate engagement through clear communication and feedback, translate survey results into actionable plans, and maintain an environment of objectivity and open communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and operational excellence, with proficiency in warehouse management software and systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Experience is overseeing the performance of an automated storage and retrievable systems (ASRS)
