Requirements

  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in or its equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and at least 10 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or in a related role. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and at least 7 years of experience in a Software Engineering or related role would be acceptable.
  • Must possess at least 7 years of experience in enterprise-scale ETL development, coding, and report/dashboard creation.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience in Advanced SQL.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience in ETL development, data warehousing, and optimizing complex queries in large datasets.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with databases like Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Postgres SQL.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence tools, including Matillion, QlikView, Qlik Sense, and NPrinting.
  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience in data modeling using SQL and Toad Data Modeler.
  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience in: data warehouse implementations, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling for both relational and dimensional models; programming/scripting; and working with Cloud infrastructures, like Azure.
  • Must possess at least 2 years of experience with Agile DevOps tools, like Jira.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead critical initiatives within the Human Resources function as part of the Workforce Intelligence Center of Excellence team.
  • Deliver strategic consulting and insights to senior HR and business leaders, contributing to impactful decision-making.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team, fostering innovation and creativity, while working alongside some of the brightest minds.
  • Lead comprehensive data modeling across Snowflake and Qlik for RTX Workforce Intelligence, ensuring robust analytics capabilities.
  • Utilize industry-leading integration and analytics tools to maintain a secure, accurate, and high-performing data warehouse.
  • Translate intricate business requirements into ETL and report specifications, optimizing data-driven decision processes.
  • Engage the entire development life cycle, from requirements gathering to ETL coding, and report/dashboard design.
  • Provide essential technical and business knowledge support to the team, enhancing overall project efficiency.
  • Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes, elevating operational excellence.
