Requirements
- Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 5 years in project management, compliance, operations, auditing, and/or engineering, an associate degree with a minimum of 4 years in project management, compliance, operations, auditing, and/or engineering, or 4 years in Operations and Planning (O&P) NERC Reliability Assurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to juggle numerous tasks with changing priorities.
- Able to work under tight deadlines.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to understand and analyze NERC regulatory requirements.
- Able to work independently and exercise considerable judgment and decision-making.
- Proficient with PC skills and programs.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring NERC Operations and Planning (O&P) Standards and developments and ensuring the organization’s readiness to meet new requirements.
- Acts as Project Manager / Systems Analyst to work with Subject Matter Experts and management to ensure reliability.
- Communicates pending or upcoming NERC regulatory obligations to Subject Matter Experts and internal stakeholders.
- Provides specialized technical expertise and support for compliance program development and compliance performance tracking and reporting.
- Establishes, administers, and monitors departmental procedures and performance to minimize risk and ensure compliance with NERC Reliability Standards and other legal requirements.
- Review of New Standards and Guidance, including ongoing review and update of the NERC Reliability Standards and communicating changes to Subject Matter Experts.
- Support the preparation of audit documents prior to external audits and conduct regular internal audits of individual Standards.
- Manage the review and updates of policies and procedures in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts.
- Lead employee training on assigned regulatory compliance Standards.

- Experience with Archer (or another Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool.)
- Technical confidence
