Requirements
- Strong network architecture experience
- Accountable for physical office networks
- Familiarity with VPN and Zero Trust solutions
- Strong combination of organizational and interpersonal/communication skills
- At least ten years of proven experience in Network Engineering
- Experienced at communicating tasks, status and risks to leadership and key stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates strong network architecture experience
- Is accountable for our physical office networks
- Collaborates and interacts with all Engineering teams
- Assists with network-level troubleshooting when issues are reported
- Builds relationships across the entire Engineering organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven, expert-level experience with the Cisco Meraki ecosystem
- Vendor management in the network space
- Familiarity with public cloud networking
- Strong knowledge of fundamental network concepts
- Understanding of modern application architectures
- Familiarity with the Linux ecosystem and toolset
- Familiarity with the Microsoft/macOS ecosystem and toolset
- Hands-on experience with common IT management and communication tools like Jira and Confluence
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Passionate about expanding into modern topics such as public cloud networking
