Senior Operations Analyst

Requirements

• Sound understanding in Transactional processing applications, information flow, and MS supported processes and procedures
• Previous experience in similar operations roles
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong customer focus
• Ability to deal with change in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tool suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc)
• High degree of accuracy in completing work and demonstrated problem solving capabilities

Responsibilities

• Ensure that systems and applications used by TD Merchant Solutions meet its processing needs, are executed error free and within SLA’s
• Investigate and resolve EUC and Job Aid (Macro) production issues
• Analyze all production issues ensuring minimal user impact and mitigation plans developed/implemented to prevent recurrence
• Perform analysis on all proposed changes investigating impacts to existing EUC and Job Aids
• Coordinate system/process changes with technology and business partners
• Adhere to and enhance a rigorous change control process for promoting changes from Development / UAT into the production environment
• Prepare/update reporting procedures and verification documentation for new/revised reporting processes
• Identify and recommend process improvements and/or automation opportunities to enhance productivity and operational efficiency within MS O&I
• Act as a key resource by providing relevant and meaningful information, advice and guidance to project partners on a range of system and operational processes
• Ensure that solutions delivered meet customer expectations by contributing expertise to specification documentation, identifying and analyzing gaps, and participating in the execution and implementation of initiatives
• Participate in development of test strategies and test plans ensuring adherence to agreed upon business requirements and participate in the testing of developed systems/solutions
• Build and maintain effective relationships with business and technology partners, subject matter experts to obtain consensus and support for required changes or enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall knowledge of TDMS products and processes is an asset
• Experience working in Agile and Kanban is an asset
• Strong business acumen
• Experience in a ‘Business Analyst’ type position – the ability to translate user requirements into technical requirements, author procedure manuals, manage change control processes, etc.
• Project management skills would be an asset
• Experience in Business Process re-engineering
• Moderate to Advanced programming concepts and skillset would be an asset
