Requirements

  • Progressive job-related experience in parts and service, engineering, dealer facing roles, or aftermarket sales/marketing roles

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support projects related to rebuild and repair growth, focusing on growing drivetrain, hydraulics, and engines for Motor Graders, working closely with internal partners. Develop project pipeline to bridge the gaps in achieving targets.
  • Lead efforts to obtain granular understanding of the rebuild/repair cost drivers- parts, labor. Conduct analysis of dealer work orders, service data, and parts availability. Drive Improvements to Service Option Collaboration Data for Repairs of top priority models.
  • Collaborate with sales organizations (CISD, RIOP/RISST) to gather VOC/VOD for understanding root causes for lost opportunity. Work closely with CISD/RIOP Component Specialists to identify improvements.
  • Support reman growth by providing SME input for new Reman NPI offerings.
  • Provide SME input for NPI programs on rebuild/repair improvements.
  • Publish the Motor Grader Rig Out Catalog updates.
  • Support Dealer and/or customer requests related to issues, product knowledge, or material for Motor Grader aftermarket products.
  • Report out on the Motor Grader rebuild parts results vs business plan to maximize OPACC/profit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A university degree preferably in Engineering or Business
  • Previous experience involving rebuild or repair key components drivetrain, engines, and/or hydraulic
  • Experience working with Caterpillar dealers or customers, ideally in a product support function
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and drive results
  • Go-to-market experience
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, collaborate and deliver results through the process partners (success working through a matrix organization)
  • Knowledge of Motor Grader machines or other Machine Products
