Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Min 7 years of experience designing architecture solutions for information systems including data/information architecture, technical infrastructure architecture, and application architecture

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of an implementation governance approach for the Enterprise Architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies.
  • Facilitate the creation of governing principles to guide Enterprise Architecture decision-making.
  • Design and drive an optimal governance structure and lead activities associated with Enterprise Architecture compliance.
  • Oversee Enterprise Architecture implementation and ongoing refinement activities.
  • Oversee the evaluation and selection of Enterprise Architecture standards.
  • Oversee the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work.
  • Understand, advocate and support the enterprise’s IT strategies.
  • Lead the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to derive useful business context.
  • Lead analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the Enterprise architecture.
  • Develop and present Enterprise Architecture position papers on key technology direction and decisions within the bank.
  • Promote the Enterprise Architecture process, outcomes, and results to the organization, including the enterprise’s IT and business leaders.
  • Assess and communicate the value of the Enterprise Architecture.
  • Help drive the evolution of the Enterprise architecture function/program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, systems analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines (such as technical architecture, network management, application development, et al)
  • Banking industry experience, including regulation and risk
  • Solution Architecture experience across the business, technology, data, application, and infrastructure domains
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum
  • Experience with SDLC, waterfall and agile delivery; DevOps and testing including experience with Cloud solution enablement
  • Experience working with SOA, microservices, and modern web application frameworks
  • Familiarly with basic information management priorities.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and Processing environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, Facilitation, and negotiation.
