Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) required
- 6+ years of news and digital experience, including producing a television newscast with breaking news
- Exceptional editorial and writing skills
- Attention to detail, an aptitude for working under tight deadlines, and effectively handling multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong interest and knowledge of current events, politics, and pop culture
Responsibilities
- Build the show’s rundown with original content and best elements
- Manage and communicate with talent, producers, bookers, and the control room during breaking news
- Identify and recognize stories with high potential for compelling content
- Mentor and develop show staff including Line Producers, Producers, Bookers, APs, and Production Assistants
- Approve and edit scripts, banners, and full screens under tight deadlines
- Collaborate with Fox News Media teams and oversee content conversion to Spanish
- Lead and participate in daily team meetings to develop show content
- Oversee the execution and production of the show
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid understanding of international news coverage preferred
